The three discuss The Voyage Home‘s shift into comedy, the ongoing transformation of William Shatner, colorful metaphors, orbital mechanics, the whale prime directive, and how each of the movie’s characters are used & developed. Also, Scott does his impression of whale song, because of course he does.
